Chase Frank Presents and San Diego based artist collaborative The L.I.E. Show have joined forces to bring The Class Reunion Tour through nine cities. The tour kicks off at The Prospector in Long Beach this Thursday, stops to bless seven cities along the way, and culminates in the final shows during Austin’s SXSW Music Festival

Curator and contributing MC of The L.I.E. Show, Blest Brando says, “Chase and I had such a great time doing this tour last year we were excited to bring everyone together again. We’re bringing back all of our favorites from last year, and adding in local artists as we go. The L.I.E. Show approach is to bring in a full circus of the best bands, MCs, DJs, live painters, and whatever else we can mix in there. Although anchored by the touring artists, every show will be different, and a unique representation of the energy in each city”

Headlining the tour is Los Angeles native Malik ‘The Freq’ Moore. Well known for his extensive work with the influential reggae band The Lions and his latest project The Upsiders, Moore will now be showcasing his solo work with a revolving cast of world class musicians. Moore’s credentials are as impressive as they are eclectic. He and his bandmates have worked with Hepcat, Alex Desert, Sharon Jones, members of Sly & Robbie, Macy Gray, Breakestra, The Aggrolites, De La Soul, Barrington Levy, Beck, Raphael Saadiq, Big Daddy Kane, and The Black Eyed Peas just to name a few. Throughout his set for The Class Reunion Tour he will be weaving together a sonic tapestry that incorporates multiple genres and his unique ‘Freq’ style. When describing Moore’s artistry promoter Chase Frank says “Malik is one of L.A.’s hardest working artists. For decades he’s been playing and writing with some of the biggest names in the music industry; and that’s just his day job. It’s great to see him take this opportunity to put his honest and raw voice out front.”

As if the above wasn’t enough the tour also features the Los Angeles duo StrAight Cro0ked, which is audio preacher AJ Freeman (from the band bobby blunders) and anointed spiritual rapper Divine One.

Representing the best voices of San Diego’s hip hop scene will be solo sets from Ross May, Moses Kohen, and Mongoyo. Singer and lyricist Ross May will be contributing his crazy mix of acoustic guitar and love of hip hop, while Kohen and Mongoyo bring in two completely different expressions on the hip hop spectrum.

Mastering his “art of selection” all night will be Long Beach’s legendary Dj the one and only Almighty Nectar.

Five dollars at the door gets you into a phenomenal party that knocks from 9:30pm to 2 am at the Prospector Family Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge 2400 E 7th St, Long Beach, California 90804
