2008 was a hard damn year for every here at LBPP. People moved away, new people were incorporated, some lost jobs, others got new ones… bands came and went, as well as a few venues. The good news is WE ARE STILL HERE!!!! Recession proof mofo’s all the way. Now that its 2009, Long Beach Party Project is back in action and doing it BIG this year. As we expand our reach we could ALWAYS USE FRESH NEW FACES for our marketing and promotions team. Let us know if you are interested.

With all that said, on to the shows! If you didn’t make it out for our secret Punk Rock Karaoke show at the Rhythm Lounge last Thursday Feb 27th then you missed a killer time for sure! Make sure to sign up for our mailing list to receive updates on Long Beach nightlife, bands, entertainment, parties, clubs, and events. Speaking of which we got two great events coming up the end of March.

LBPP had teamed up with All You Can Eat Music, Renegade Rollergirls of OC, and Breast Cancer Angels to bring you two kickass benefit shows to raise money for LOCAL breast cancer survivors. This helps out people in YOUR community, many of us know someone that has had breast cancer or atleast KNOW someone that knows someone, so come out to Di Piazza’s on March 27th for the “Pink Pizza Mixer” featuring: NOBODY CARES, Johnny Angry, and The Eddie Booze Band. If PUNK ROCK is more your thing then March 28th at the Puka Bar in Long Beach is the show for you! Bands include: Riot Gun, Revenge Club, Boobie Trap, and Barbie & the Hookers. Both shows are JUST $5 to get in and every last CENT of that goes to Breast Cancer Angels of OC.
