Late again and this time it cost me! As we walked down towards Gladstones I realized how incredibly packed this small harbor was. The lighthouse park where I had originally intended to set up was so thick with people you couldn’t even tell they were standing on grass! Long Beach set a record for the RedBull Flugtag in attendance, with over 105,000, but there were no flight records set as not ONE team achieved successful flight. It was funny as hell though so if you were one of the few who missed it we tossed together this video which features all that was awesome at Flugtag including: Long Beach team Fish & Chips from Gladstones and local musician Chris Paul Overall playing just after the event as part of the Summer And Music concert series and skydivers in canoe’s.
