Its Vaudeville time! If you have no idea what that means you have even more reason to check out this awesome show. This Thursday, September 23rd, Long Beach locals Allyssandra & The Daymakers release a brand new album and in celebration they have put together a spectacular Vaudeville inspired show at the Long Beach Art Theater. The show will include local bands, poets, live painting, silent movies, dancing, and an all around great time. Check out the line up:

Ben White

Miniature Houses

Angie Evans

The Clouds

David Sinclair Robison

The Next Great American Novelist

Poets: Eitan Kadosh, hector son of hector and Alex Mastrovito

Special performances by:  fire dancing group Sirena Serpentina

live painter and local artist Michael Pukac,  acroyogis Stoney Meteorite, and Aaron Van Geem from the Alive Theater.

And if that’s not enough Mondo Celluloid is curating Silent Movies screen during the musical performances!

What I find interesting is that instead of Alyssandra and her band actually PLAYING their release show, they have gathered some great local talent to showcase and created something unique and different for people to check out. Everyone in attendance will receive a free copy of their new album with paid entry, and at just $10 for presale on the Art Theaters website, its a damn good deal for great local music. The show starts at 8pm so if you are not already going, change your plans it’s worth it!
