Spot light show of the week, make sure to check out 2 great indie bands swinging through Long Beach on tour. This Thursday, Feb 17th The Woolly Moon (Baltimore) and Assateague (San Francisco) play at Viento Y Agua Coffee House with local support from singer Cherrise So.

Every once in a while an out of town band hits us up to do a review or help promote a local show they have in the LBC, but most of the time the music just isn’t up to par, but that’s not the case with these two bands! They both have interesting sounds, blending soft indie rock with great lyrics with a dash of blues tossed in there. For a free show at one of LB’s hippest coffee shops you really can’t beat this line up that indie label The Epiphysis Foundation is presenting. Make sure to check out the bands music online and then make it to the show!
