inutero_posterIn Utero came out 20 years ago, and to tell the truth, we’ve all kind of been missing Nirvana. Enter Dick the Citizen, Long Beach’s finest 90s throwbacks, who will be covering In Utero in its entirety at your favorite local record store Fingerprints this coming Monday, September 23rd starting at 7pm.

Dick the Citizen are regulars at DiPiazza’s, where their mix of skilled playing, passion for the genre, and a set list of the best music of Seattle in the 90s, makes a Dick the Citizen show into a special night. For this show, the guys have been working on an all In Utero set, so it will be the perfect way to capture the energy and excitement of this very powerful moment in time.

This is a free event, but you need to RSVP. To RSVP please call 562.433.4996

The party continues on Tuesday, the 24th, when Fingerprints will have real Tattoo artists at the shop giving a free Nirvana Smiley Face tattoo all day, with purchase of one of the newly remastered versions of In Utero, or a copy of the Live & Loud DVD. (Must be 21 or older)
