Based in Long Beach, Paperplanes have been crafting their songs in studios and stages for over a decade. What originated as a lo-fi songwriting vehicle, has worked its way to being one of Los Angeles’s most acclaimed country rock bands.

In 2003, OC Weekly called Paperplanes “the greatest rock & roll music we’ve ever heard in our lives.” In 2004 their music was featured in the movie Electric Mayhem. 2008’s Rhinestone Republic received 4 stars from ALTCOUNTRY.NL, and received favorable domestic and international reviews.
