King Kang’s guitar-driven psychedelic pop is an electric experience of emotion and sound that consumes the listener entirely.

Drawing from a multitude of genres and stylistic influences, the five-piece outfit embodies a “kitchen sink” musical sensibility, common for many Long Beach bands. Warm, warble-y pulse, syncopated beats, steady organ synths, and spacious echoes saturate the air with combustable tension that rises and falls as the song evolves.

Frontwoman Esther Kang’s on-stage persona exudes cool, telling personal stories through haunting falsettos and intense howls, as the rest of the band delivers explosive melodic outbursts and expansive jams.

Currently in the studio putting final touches on their self-titled debut, King Kang are preparing to release it in the spring 2016.
