BeachStreetsLogo-300x300Long Beach has seen two past similar events in 2015–Beach Streets Uptown and Beach Streets Grand Prix View. The event that took place this past Saturday occurred mostly throughout Broadway between Euclid and Pacific Ave. It was welcomed by the local masses who decided to participate on bikes, skateboards, roller skates, or on foot with children and fur children in tow. Live music events were simultaneously taking place as part of Beach Streets Downtown throughout the bustling route, with no less than 20 local bands, artists, and DJs providing well-received groove that kept the locals up and about. With so many local artists playing from the start to finish of Beach Streets Downtown, and extending into Live After Five at the Promenade, local residents were not only encouraged to check out the local talent, but to slow down the pace of their normally busy lives and discover new places in different parts of town that they would have otherwise zoomed right past.
